The  Vertrek Ford concept  was unveiled at the Detroit show. This  compact SUV prototype should take the place of the Ford Kuga in Europe, but also that of the Ford Escape in the United States.  Ford Vertrek Concept is a preview of the successor of the American SUV, the Ford Kuga.

Beefy
Ford  Vertrek  Concept shows his muscles at the Detroit show. With his beefy look of it is even more massive than the Ford Kuga, it should replace. With more massive grille and very open, its enhanced speed SUV and its typical  headlight is very slender, the Ford Vertrek  Concept impresses with its looks. Behind the lines are smoother, lighter.

Efficiency
Side of the engine, the American manufacturer has placed a 4-cylinder gasoline engine 1.6-liter EcoBoost under the hood of this Ford Vertrek concept . This engine is equipped with the proprietary technology Auto-Start-Stop, a Start and Stop System to reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. No details about the power of this block Ford Vertrek concept team , but it could be between 150 and 180 hp.

When?
This  Vertrek concept should emerge. In a way, anyway. This prototype is built on an entirely new platform. This will be used next year to produce the next SUV of the American brand. This  Vertrek  concept should replace the Ford Kuga in Europe, but also the Ford Escape in the United States. His arrival is expected to materialize next year.

Remains to be seen whether this Ford Vertrek concept will succeed the  bet win both in Europe and the United States
