Lexus has published more detailed specifications for hybrid hatchback car, the 2011 Lexus CT 200h. Planned On sale January 2011, the hybrid hatchback development with boasts ‘L finesse’ styling, a roof-mounted spoiler, 17-inches alloy wheels and available LED headlights.
Interior, the cabin equipped with an 8-inches TFT LCD display, metallic accents and very soft touch materials. To further ease the minds of high-class natural audio equipment, Lexus added “bamboo charcoal-based resin diaphragm speakers” and natural dashboard from bioplastic components.
Power are supported by a 98 hp (73 kW / 99 PS) and 1.8-liter VVT-i petrol engine and an 80 hp (60 kW / 82 PS) electric motor. Despite sounding comfortable powerful, the combined output is 134 hp (100 kW / 136 PS). While this allows the hybrid hatchback to have an estimated EPA fuel economy rating of 42 mpg (combined), acceleration speed around 0-60 mph for 9.8 seconds and reach top speed is 112 mph (180 km/hours).
This hybrid car is also featured with a 4 mode drive selection switch, which allows driver to choose between max performance or efficiency . If choose Sport mode it will reduces the influence of the safety nannies (stability control / traction control), while if choose Eco mode retards throttle inputs and the AC. But if we choose Normal or EV mode , good, normal and EV mode allows the Lexus CT 200h to travel up to 1 mile emissions free at speeds up to 28 mph (45 km/h).
